Catherine Foca

Catherine Foca is the Founder of Foca Consulting and serves as a strategic planning and organizational design consultant with Motivate Lab. Catherine brings over 15 years of experience in the public, private and not for profit sector, most recently serving as President of the Capital One Foundation and Vice President of Community Affairs at Capital One. Catherine earned her B.A. in Politics from Wake Forest University and her M.P.A. from UNC- Chapel Hill. Catherine started her equity journey as a Public Ally/ AmeriCorps member serving people engaged with the juvenile justice system 20 years ago. In each step of her journey she seeks to examine privilege, justice and equity- and the implicit bias of the status quo. She likes to jump through hoops to break them for those coming after her. As a triathlete and mom of three girls she and her husband Chris live out and build out the reality of Beyonce’s vision “Run the world (Girls)” every day.
