Why we’re gathering
The Mindset GPS Drive Thru Convening brings educators from across the California Community Colleges together to strengthen how we support student motivation, especially in high-stakes moments when learning gets hard. Anchored at Citrus College, our host campus, we invite faculty and staff from across California who are interested in learning more about learning mindsets to join us. Together, we’ll share and practice evidence-based, classroom-ready strategies that build key learning mindsets: Growth Mindset, Purpose and Relevance, and Sense of Belonging. Participants will leave with a shared framework, practical tools they can use right away, and clear next steps for sustaining motivation-building practices in their classrooms, departments, and campuses.
