Why we're gathering
The in-person convening is the third and final part of the Colorado Mindset Academy, where educators from across Colorado's institutions of higher education will come together to strengthen how we support student motivation, especially in high-stakes moments when learning gets hard. We will gather at Red Rocks Community College, our host campus, where we invite instructors from across Colorado who are interested in learning more about learning mindsets to join us. Together, we'll share and practice evidence-based, classroom-ready strategies that build key learning mindsets: Growth Mindset, Purpose and Relevance, and Sense of Belonging. Participants will leave with a shared framework, practical tools they can use right away, and clear next steps for how to integrate practices that enhance student motivation in their classrooms, departments, and campuses.
