Katherine Menendez

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Katherine Menendez is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Motivate Lab. She’s a third-year pursuing a major in psychology with a minor in statistics at the University of Virginia. Her interests involve identifying protective factors for URM within the higher education system and creating support systems for students dealing with mental illness. Currently, she’s involved with HoosConnected, an organization that seeks to build connections between new students entering the University. She serves as a member of the executive board for both program development and events, and is a lead co-facilitator. Additionally, she is the recruitment chair on the Transfer Advisory Board. Her goal is to attend graduate school; as for now she spends her time writing science fiction and watching psychology-related videos on youtube.
