Miray Seward is a second year PhD student in Educational Psychology - Applied Developmental Science. In the Motivate Lab, she examines the experiences of Black students in STEM majors and mindset transfer across contexts. Additionally, she examines Black student-athletes identity development in school and sports. Prior to graduate school, she spent a year as a research coordinator in the Motivate Lab and two years as a lab manager in the Language Development Lab and Wilbourn Infant Lab at Duke University.
