Particularly the research on value-setting with students and training around Mindset GPS, both for students and the systems they interact with, have completely shifted my approach.I used to only focus on motivating students through encouragement and connecting them to resources. Now, I take it a step further by deeply understanding their values and helping them stay disciplined in their goals. I ensure this by connecting their education to what matters most to them. This perspective has transformed how I approach student engagement, ensuring every connection fosters trust, motivation, and a clear path forward. No one wants to ask for help in a place they don’t feel comfortable.”
