Travis Maddry
Lead designer
Travis is the Lead Designer at Motivate Lab. Before moving to Virginia, Travis taught a variety of subjects and served in several leadership roles over eight years at both public and independent high schools in Houston, Texas. His interests include teacher development, instructional design, and making schools meaningful places to live and grow. He is committed to working against all forms of injustice and oppression, and desires to become a more gentle, kind, caring, thoughtful, charitable, and loving person to his friends, family, coworkers, and wider community.
Travis holds a B.B.A in Finance from Texas A&M University and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia.
