Attire & What to Bring
We are excited to welcome you all to Denver in November. Here are a few things, from attire to what to bring, to help make the most of your time.
Denver Weather & Attire for the Convening
The average temperature in Denver the week of November 3 will range from a high of 45°F (7°C) to a low of 30°F (-1°C) at night, though Denver’s weather, especially in November, is notoriously unpredictable. We recommend packing a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat for chilly evenings, which can drop below freezing. Daytime weather can vary drastically, from warm and sunny to cold and snowy, so we recommend dressing in layers. Boots are recommended, and you may also wish to bring an umbrella or waterproof jacket in case of rain or snow. Note that the convening sessions will be held in the hotel ballroom, which is located directly across the street from the hotel and will require a very short walk outdoors. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking to dinner or other activities in the evening.
We ask our attendees to adhere to the following dress guidelines.
Thursday Sessions & Happy Hour - Business casual
Friday - Casual
Examples of business casual: blouses, polo or button down shirts, slacks or khakis, dress pants, skirts, and dresses.
Examples of casual: jeans and t-shirts.
What to Bring
Here’s a few tips on what to bring.
Convening Folder & Name Tag. Please bring the folder and name tag you received at check-in with you to convening sessions.
Light Jacket or Sweater. We recommend dressing in layers to accommodate varying indoor temperatures.
Reusable Water Bottle. Hydration is essential, especially with Denver’s elevation. The Navigate Project will provide a reusable water bottle to each attendee.
Laptop & Charger. A portion of the convening is dedicated to your team or individual strategic planning. You may want to access key documents, resources, or schedules from your laptop during this space. Don't forget your charger.
