COVID-19 Masks & Test Kits

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 conditions and as part of our precautionary safety measures, we are implementing a mandatory daily COVID testing policy for all attendees on each day of the convening. This proactive approach will help us minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission and provide a secure environment for everyone.

All attendees, including staff, must undergo two COVID-19 tests while they attend the Fall Convening. Upon checking in for the event, each attendee will receive 2 rapid antigen tests that should be taken over the course the event with the following recommended schedule:

  • Test #1: Wednesday evening/Thursday morning

  • Test #2: Thursday evening/Friday morning

If you show a positive test result, please call Terra Browne directly at 469-319-2669. We ask that anyone who shows a positive test result, regardless of symptoms, refrain from attending the Fall Convening. If you are staying at The Highland and show a positive test result, we will work to make arrangements with you for the duration of the event.

State and local policy does not require the usage of masks. Though wearing a mask is optional, we encourage mask usage to support the safety and wellness of the community, particularly for those who may be immunocompromised. We will have a large supply of KN95 masks available each day of the event.

We understand that these measures may require additional planning and cooperation, but they are essential to ensure the safety of everyone attending the Fall Convening. We appreciate your understanding, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
