Next door to The Highland Dallas is Mockingbird Station Shopping Center with over 35 vibrant eateries, shops, and entertainment venues, including a Starbucks.

Within a 10-Minute Drive

There are many sights within a 10-minute drive, including:

American Airlines Center: The proud home of the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and the Dallas Stars (NHL) is only five minutes away from the hotel. Basketball, hockey, concerts, comedy and world-class performances are on the bustling event calendar for the AAC.

Dallas Museum of Arts: The DMA is one of the largest art museums in America, located in the nation's largest arts district in downtown Dallas.

Dallas World Aquarium: DWA’s goal is to educate, participate, and illustrate the importance of conserving and protecting our earth’s resources for animals and humankind through the exhibition of diverse habitats, species, and cultures.

Reunion Tower: From 470 feet up you’ll experience breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views a free digital photo and an indoor/outdoor observation deck that lets you see for miles in any direction.

The JFK Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza: The museum chronicles the assassination and legacy of President Kennedy and explores the history of 1960s. Conveniently connected to the hotel and iconic Dallas landmark Reunion Tower.

 

The Texas State Fair

The Texas State Fair is a festival of all things Texas, and is home to the most famous resident, Big Tex! The Texas State Fair runs through Sunday, October 22, and includes music, entertainment, an auto show, carnival rides and games, art, and lots of fried food concoctions like creole etouffee beignets, churreos, and cornbread sausage bombs.
